AGCO has an exciting opportunity for a Materials Planner to join its team in delivering extraordinary results at the Beloit, KS location.
The Beloit Location operates around the clock to serve internal and external customers on a global scale.
This is a role with growth potential and developmental opportunities.
The Materials Planner will be responsible for optimizing site supply chain processes, performance and tools.
The position is responsible for supporting the Materials team, idea generation and implementation of supply chain optimization actions including supplier performance and development, transportation, material flow and inventory optimization.
Also, the position will drive and support critical supply chain situations and optimization of costs, capacity utilization while meeting specifications/requirements from Materials, Logistics, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering.
What you will do:
Place/manage orders to coincide with supply plans from production facilities and third-party suppliers.
Manage adjustments to plans as necessary, including changes to POs, schedules, standard costing, etc.
within the ERP system.
Communication of risks related to inventory and supply plans in terms of lead time and capacity constraints for products.
Reach agreement with sales and marketing on acceptable/equitable quantities and timing.
Establish critical inventory parameters -- such as activity-based costing (ABC) and safety stock settings, replenishment quantity and launch quantity, taking into account constraints and input, such as lead time and order cycle time.
What you will bring:
1-3
years of experience in domestic and international materials planning processes and /or logistics and supply chain Skills and experience in working across functions, with multiple teams, departments, groups, sites and/or cultures Experienced and proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Organization skills, prioritization skills, and strong communications skills required A plus if you have:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
